MABF/WXYZ-TV Broadcasting Scholarship

WXYZ-TV, in cooperation with the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation, offered a one-time, $1,000 scholarship to assist students who are actively pursuing a career in a broadcast-related field at a Michigan college or university.

Thank you for your interest in the 2011 MAB Foundation Station Scholarship Program!! One Michigan college/university student will be awarded by the station during the Main Luncheon at the 2011 Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference & Expo on Wednesday, March 9.

Interested students must submit the following information to the MAB Foundation by Friday, January 14, 2011 to be considered for the WXYZ-TV Station Scholarship.

* cover letter
* resume
* 2-3 letters of recommendation
* 200-300 word essay outlining your career goals
