Congratulations to Savana Ciavatta who was awarded the scholarship at the MAB Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference and Expo on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
Savanah, who is pursuing a career in television broadcasting, is a sophomore at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She hosts and reports for four shows at OU while enrolled in honors classes and holding a 3.9 GPA.
The MAB scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship to assist students who are actively pursuing a career in a broadcast-related field at a Michigan college or university.
