(WXYZ) - One of the area's most popular cultural events returns to Royal Oak this weekend.
Ford Arts' Beat & Eats presented by Citizens Bank will run from August 31 to September 3. It will run daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., except for Monday, September 3 when the festival will end at 9:00 p.m.
This will be the third year that the event is held in Royal Oak. The event has expanded from last year and spreads out from Washington in the heart of Downtown Royal Oak.
Admission is $3, with most of that money going to charity.
The event will feature local artists, musicians and food. Among the headlining acts will be G Love & Special Sauce, Beatlemania, REO Speedwagon, Travis Tritt, The Guess Who, Morris Day & The Time and Thornetta Davis.
