DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Women of Ministry Empowering Nations Inc. will hold a gospel concert this weekend to help bring awareness to the problem of domestic violence.

The concert, which will be held at 6 p.m. on September 15, will feature recording artists Christina Benjamin, Aletta Henderson, Tony Frost and others. The performance will be at the Evergreen Lutheran Church in Detroit.

Ten dollar donations will be collected at the door. The concert will also raise funds to help open shelters for battered and abused women and children.
