FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Five days, eighteen performances, and eight shows sum up Spontaneous Combustion Motor City comedy festival in Ferndale at the Go Comedy! Improv Theater August 10-14.
The festival is hosted by the Go Comedy! Improv Theater and Basement Theater and sponsored by Hungry Howies.
Each day holds 4-5 performances with some offered for free. Improv groups include Bearded Men Improv, Monkey 13, Slightly Altered, and many more.
Comedian instructors from Minneapolis and Chicago will be hosting comedy workshops for $25.
The Go Comedy! Improv Theater is located at 261 East Nine Mile Road.
Tickets range from $10-$15 and can be purchased online at gocomedy.net or spontaneouscombustionmotorcity.com . Tickets for workshops can be found there as well.
