DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Motor City Haunt Club is partnering with Zombie Walk Detroit to hold a canned food drive that will benefit Gleaners Food Bank as part of their 7th annual haunted garage sale.
Admission to the sale is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good for donation. Prizes will be award for best zombie and the most generous food donation.
The Haunted Garage Sale will be held September 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the University of Detroit Mercy. The school is located at 4001 W. McNichols in Detroit.
It is designed to be a one stop shop for Halloween fans looking to pick up decorations, books, magazines or movies. Customs creations will also be on sale from Motor City Haunt Club members
