Henry Ford Macomb Hospital's gearing up for The Medallion Ball

(WXYZ)Southfield - Henry Ford Macomb Hospital’s premiere fund-raising event, The Medallion – Macomb’s Gala Event, is scheduled for March 3 at Penna’s of  Sterling. With a Pure Michigan® theme, this year’s event will celebrate pride and commitment to the region and state, while raising money to support the further expansion of Older Adult Services.

Recognizing the growing population of seniors in Macomb County, Henry Ford Macomb is working to provide early assessment services for physical or emotional problems in the elderly. The goal is to help them better manage conditions while maintaining their independence.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Recognition of the Medallion winners, dinner and dancing will follow. Tickets are $250 each. For more information, call Tina Lavinio-Mattinen in the Office of Philanthropy at (586) 263-2968.
