DETROIT, Mich. (WXYZ) - You can celebrate the first night of Hanukkah in Downtown Detroit, by watching the lighting of a giant ice sculpture Menorah.
The event is set to begin December 20th at 5:30 pm in Campus Martius. The park will remain open afterwards for music and ice skating.
This event is hosted by "The Shul" of West Bloomfield, and co-sponsored by Quicken Loans, Community Next, and Chef Cori Kosher Catering.
The Menorah lighting will take place at Cadillac Square in Campus Martius Park. It's located at 800 Woodward Avenue, south of Grand Circus Park and north of Hart Plaza.
Parking is available in the Two Detroit Garage structure, at the corner of Congress and Randolph.
