FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Ferndale is getting ready for the second annual Pig & Whiskey BBQ festival.
The event is a weekend long celebration of BBQ, whiskey and outdoor entertainment. It will take place July 14 and 15, with a special pre-party on Friday, July 13.
The event is being sponsored by the Metro Times and the Woodward Avenue Brewers.
Friday's events will run from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Saturday's hours are 11:00 a.m. to midnight and Sunday the event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Entry to the event is free and all ages are welcome.
A portion of the proceeds will be used to support the Ronald McDonald House.
