ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Do you love cheese, chocolate and wine? How about giving back to the community?
If you answered yes either of these questions, then the holiday wine festival “Sip Savor Stomp” may be an event right up your alley.
The Royal Oak festival will feature nearly 100 wines from around the world along with cheese, chocolate and cuisine from more than 10 restaurants available to sample.
In addition to food and wine, attendees will enjoy the musical stylings of Motor City artist Ben Sharkey.
This year’s event will be held at the Royal Oak Farmers Market on November 24. Tickets are $40 for the grand tasting and $80 for the VIP tasting which includes higher-end wines.
The VIP tasting runs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the grand tasting runs from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. People who purchase tickets to the VIP tasting can also stay through the grand tasting.
All proceeds will go to Camp Casey, a Michigan nonprofit horseback riding program for children with cancer. You can read more about Camp Casey by clicking here .
