Livonia, Mich. (WXYZ) - It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but Santa Claus is already making his rounds and coming to Livonia Saturday, Nov. 12!

Santa will arrive at Laurel Park Place in a red Mustang as the Livonia Franklin High School Marching Band leads the way around the mall.

The band will arrive playing a holiday tune. Santa will greet the children and families before he enters the mall and goes to his home for the holiday at the Food Court.

Kids will also receive a free coloring book during the fun-filled morning with St. Nick!

This year, Santa has a few new tricks up his sleeve! Laurel Park Place will offer shoppers a “Santa App.”

The Santa’s Fun App is a free download on the android market and iPhone app store. Children and families can write letters to Santa and even read his responses! Plus, the app helps you get organized with gift lists. You can even track Santa’s worldwide journey on Christmas Eve.

Visits with Santa are available through Christmas Eve, Mondays – Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sundays from Noon until 6:00 p.m. These visits are always free and photo packages are available for purchase. For photo package prices and more information, visit the mall website at LaurelParkPlace.com.
