David Duchovny not dating Gillian Anderson

A representative for DAVID DUCHOVNY has shut down rumors the actor is dating his former THE X-FILES co-star GILLIAN ANDERSON following her split from her longtime boyfriend.
Gossip website CelebDirtyLaundry.com sparked the claims after posting an article suggesting the two former colleagues had been "in a serious relationship for some time now" on Wednesday (08Aug12), the day after Anderson confirmed her six-year romance with Mark Griffiths was over.
However, a spokesperson for Duchovny has put a stop to the allegations, telling Celebuzz.com, "It is not true."
Duchovny has been single since separating from his wife Tea Leoni for a second time last year (11).
