DeGraw 'to join Dancing With The Stars'

Singer GAVIN DeGRAW is bouncing back from a brutal bar beating to join U.S. TV talent show DANCING WITH THE STARS.

The Chariot hitmaker was hospitalized with a concussion and broken nose after a run-in with a trio of thugs in New York last August (11) but he is putting the street attack behind him to compete on the show, according to his pal Ryan Tedder.

The OneRepublic frontman tells The Hollywood Reporter, "Gavin DeGraw is doing Dancing With The Stars, I heard. He's amazing. He's one of my favorite male singers alive."

It is not yet clear whether DeGraw has officially inked a deal to appear on the hit show.
