JESSICA ALBA relies on an unconventional shoe trick to avoid embarrassing herself when she wears high heels - she tapes them to her feet.

The Fantastic Four beauty admits she has tripped up too many times while walking in her fashionable footwear, so she has taken to using double-sided tape to keep her skyscraper stilettos in place.

She tells New York Magazine, "I stick every shoe to the bottom of my foot with double-stick tape.

"Shoes have fallen off, I've fallen to the ground. It's all happened."
