PEARL JAM closed JAY-Z's new music festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday (02Sep12) by teaming up with the rapper for a special performance of his hit track 99 PROBLEMS.

The hip-hop star launched his Made In America Festival on Saturday (01Sep12) with acts including Passion Pit, Drake and Run DMC, and he also took to the stage himself on the opening night.

Legendary rockers Pearl Jam were chosen to close the event on Sunday, and they thrilled the crowd with a 25-song set, which included covers of tracks by The Clash and The Who.

However, the highlight of the show came when festival boss Jay-Z appeared on stage to join Eddie Vedder and his bandmates for a rendition of 99 Problems.

Pearl Jam finished with a cover of Neil Young's Keep on Rockin' in the Free World.

The Sunday leg of the festival also marked the highly-anticipated reunion of rap group Run DMC. The band split after its longtime DJ, Jam Master Jay, was shot and killed in 2002.

The group's set included performances by the late star's two sons, T.J. and Jam Master J'Son.
