Pontiac - One of the best-known haunted houses in the state is now open in Pontiac.
The 4-story Erebus haunted attraction held the Guinness World Record for largest walk-though attraction from August 2005 through September 2009.
This year, the 30-year-old, four-level Pontiac haunt offers an additional 261 linear feet, with a different theme on each level. Anyone brave enough to enter will encounter everything from flesh-eating zombies to demented experimental labs. There's even an eerie descent into dinosaur territory.
One of the most eagerly awaited attractions this year is the buried-alive chamber, where customers get buried by assorted objects.
