First trailer for Detroit filmed Red Dawn released

(WXYZ) - It was one of the highest profile movies filmed under Michigan's old film incentive program, but Red Dawn has so far not be released.
However, a trailer for the movie will soon be hitting theaters, and the film itself will follow in November.
The movie was one of the victims of MGM's financial problems, which kept it from being released until now. The latest James Bond movie, Skyfall, was also affected by MGM's problems.
Red Dawn may end up benefiting from the delay through, as several of the movie's actors have become stars since filming began. These include Thor's Chris Hemsworth and The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson.
