(WXYZ) - What does it take to be in the movies? Sometimes, you’d be surprised. Producers of one upcoming film are looking for a cast that includes bikers, denture wearers and churchgoers. There may be a role for you, too.

The film ‘Machine Gun Preacher’ will begin filming in July around metro Detroit and Michigan Casting Services is looking to cast paid extras and stand-ins.

The film stars Gerard Butler (best known for his role in ‘300’). According to the casting agency, he plays a “former drug dealing tough guy” who finds God and comes to the aid of Sudanese children. It is the true story of Rev. Sam Childers who chronicled his own story in the book ‘Another Man’s War.’

‘Machine Gun Preacher’ will be directed by Marc Forster who previously made ‘The Kite Runner,’ ‘Finding Neverland,’ and ‘Monster’s Ball.’

If you’re interested in one of the spots as an extra or stand-in, Michigan Casting Services says they are seeking “people of all ages, shapes and sizes.” You do not need to be a professional actor.

In fact, the list of roles they are hoping to fill seems wide-ranging. According to their press release:

"Specific looks include: Bikers, Biker Chicks, Church Goers, Junkies/Drug Dealers, Prostitutes, Construction Workers, Factory Workers, Farmers, Teenagers and Children. There is also a need for denture wearers willing to be filmed without teeth and people in motorized carts."

Does that sound like you? Perfect! You’ll want to apply online at this address: http://www.nextcat.com/MichCasting
