Jimmy Buffett to bring Margaritaville party to Detroit at Comerica Park

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Award-winning singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett will take anchor just one mile off the Detroit River this summer for his debut performance at Comerica Park.

The largest single-night Buffett concert in Michigan history will take place on Saturday July 28 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at Tickets.com on Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m. and can also be purchased at the Comerica Park Box Office. To charge tickets by phone call 866-66-TIGER. For additional information call Olympia Entertainment at 313-471-6611.

The Margaritaville tailgating experience will start Saturday at 8 a.m. with a FREE downtown beach party for all to enjoy. It will take place on the grounds surrounding Comerica Park and will feature a LandShark Lounge, margarita tasting, hula hooping, a variety of midway games, live entertainment and more.
