(WXYZ-Detroit) - The 30th Annual WYCD  Downtown Hoedown is in Detroit this weekend.

If you are planning to cowboy up and attend the 3 day music festival it begins Friday night at 5:00 pm.  Then on Saturday and Sunday it continues from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets to get in cost $30.

The event that has brought more than a million people to Downtown Detroit in the past comes with changes this year.  It is no longer going to be held along Detroit’s Riverfront at Hart Plaza.  Instead it will surround Comerica Park.

Organizers say the new location will allow a set up that gives more people a great view of the stage.  It also provides more bathroom facilities.
