Vic Faust wins 96.3 WDVD hottest news anchor in Detroit

(WXYZ) - It was a house-divided here at Broadcast with two of our new anchors battling it out for the title of hottest newscaster in Detroit.

Vic Faust edged out Stephen Clark with more votes in 96.3 WDVD's hottest news anchor contest. The contest was called Newsvember.

Thirty news anchors, sportscasters and meteorologists were originally in the running. Each day the person with the lowest votes was eliminated.

In the end, 7 Action news anchors Stephen Clark and Vic Faust were the final 2. They had a one day vote-off asking anyone and everyone to vote for them.

Thursday morning, the winning announcement was made live during the Blaine & Allyson radio show on WDVD with Vic and Stephen in studio.

It was a tight battle but  Vic and his #earlyrisers were able to edge out Stephen and his #backchannel followers.

Vic’s prize was a nice sized trophy and a box of Suzy Q’s!
