Birmingham Police search for man found lurking in woman's basement

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. (WXYZ) - A Birmingham woman ran from her home after a frightening find. She says she walked into her basement early Friday morning and saw a man just sitting there.

She got in her car and drove for help. She told Birmingham Police she saw the man leaving out her side door as she rushed away. They could not find him.

Neighbors say it is concerning because they do not know of the man’s intentions. They want to know whether he is a would-be thief, sexual predator, or simply someone who was confused for whatever reason.

They have released a sketch of the man. If you know who he may be call Birmingham Police.
