(GREENFIELD VILLAGE-WXYZ) - Greenfield Village is once again offering to take you on a trip into America’s past.  Hundreds turned up as it opened its gates on Saturday for the 2012 season.

There are several new offerings, including a new store next door to the Wright Cycle Shop.  The Main Street Emporium features early 20 th century-style items.

Guests will have the chance to tour the village aboard real Model Ts or a historic locomotive, watch farmers use Percheron draft horses to work the land, and see artisans working in  Pottery and Glass Shops.

Admission to Greenfield Village is $24 for adults, $22 for seniors 62 and up, and $17.50 for kids under 12. Children four and under are free.
