WXYZ - A smoking package set off a bomb scare at the Northville Post Office on Saturday.
Postal Workers shut down the office on South Wing Street and called in Postal Police to investigate. The post office was closed for more than an hour while they dealt with the situation.
Postal Inspectors say someone tried to send something flammable in the mail, which is not allowed.
At this point in their investigation it doesn’t appear the sender intended to spark such a problem.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
