(WYXZ) - When is it OK for a parent to leave a newborn for some 'me time?' It's a topic causing a lot of buzz on mommy blogs.

In a story on Good Morning America today, Canadian journalist Rebecca Eckler said she left her baby for vacation after 10 weeks.

And although she left her child in the care of her fiance's mother and nanny, she wasn't prepared for the backlash she received from her readers.
