Tokyo (WXYZ) -

The Bacon Bomb . For 100 yen, about a dollar and a quarter, Burger King in Japan will add 15 slices of bacon to your burger.

One guy took it to the extreme, adding 15-hundred slices. It’s a heart stopping construction that is both figuratively and literally an unbalanced diet.

We asked former Detroiter Mark Williams, who lives in Japan to show a little more restraint with his bacon bomb

“Take a look at the 15 slices of bacon,” Mark instructs as he lifts the bun.  “You can see that right there, quite a lot of bacon on the burger. ”

A double whopper starts at 900 calories and 57 grams of fat. The bacon , 645 calories and 50 grams of fat worth, brings it to a whopping 1545 calories and 107 grams of fat.

But forget that—how does it taste?

“The bacon bomb Whopper has a lot of bacon flavor. ” Mark says. “It definitely powers through it all. ”
