Looking for a great way to celebrate Valentine's with that special someone? Here's an event that not only features great food and classy wine, but raises money for a good cause.
Cloverleaf Fine Wine will host a special event February 13 at 7 p.m. at Satay House in Madison Heights.
Enjoy a five-course meal featuring Asian cuisine with wine pairings.
A portion of each ticket will benefit the Royal Oak YMCA through the Michael Chetcuti Foundation. Each ticket is $60. The price includes food, wine and gratuity. There is limited seating.
"People don't often think of wine with Asian food," said Tom Natoci, the Cloverleaf manager. "But we have some great ideas for wines that work well with even spicy foods."
Satay House says it is the only Malaysian restaurant from here to Chicago.
Cloverleaf owner Michael Chetcuti's foundation is sponsoring the event. He says he is happy to benefit the Royal Oak YMCA. "We live and work in Royal Oak... Almost all our charitable giving goes right back to the community."
