(WXYZ) - The state of Michigan is holding its first ever “virtual career fair” linking job seekers from around the state with employers in a live, 3-D interactive environment online.

MiVirtualCareerFair is being held today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Participants will be able to hold live conversations with recruiters through instant messaging or via webcam.

You’ll be able to upload your resume for various job postings and even interact with other participants in the “networking lounge”.

This career fair targets jobseekers in the IT and High Tech fields.

Companies participating include Gentex, Quicken Loans, Nissan Technical Center North America, and GE, as well as several others.

The best part about this career fair? You can participate from the comfort of your home, even in your pajamas… just make sure you do your hair if you plan on using a webcam!
