Kar’s Nuts has been providing quality nut and snack items to customers throughout Michigan since 1933. In the beginning, the company’s founder, Sue Karpe, roasted nuts in her home near Tiger Stadium and sold them to fans as they came to the game. Today, this family-owned operation is selling its snacks in all fifty states as well as Canada & Mexico. Each year, Kar’s Nuts makes over 20 million pounds of various nuts and mixes which are available at a variety of places including convenience stores and vending machines.
