DETROIT (WXYZ) - There is no doubt the 2013 North American International Auto Show was a hit this year.
Attendance has been high at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit over the past week; and on the auto show's final day, attendance exceeded 100,000 for the fourth time.
On Sunday, the auto show welcomed 103,897 spectators. Last year, on the same day, there were 101,141 people in attendance.
In total, ticketed attendance at the 2013 auto show rose to 795,416 compared to 770,932 in 2012.
NAIAS Chairman, Jim Seavitt, said the 2013 total is the highest since 2004 when 808,333 attended.
