CHICAGO (WXYZ) - The Chicago Auto Show is underway and Action News reporter Mary Conway is the only Detroit television reporter there to bring you the scoop.

The show is huge - over a million square feet and over a million visitors.

Ford is rolling out the battery powered version of its Transit Connect work van. It will travel 80 miles on one charge.

We will also see a new version of the popular pony. The Shelby GT Five Hundred now with even more horsepower.
 
We will also see a redesigned version of the Edge crossover.

With all of the ups and downs at Chrysler. CEO Sergio Marchionne has backed out of his speech to the Econ Club. He is traveling to Kasakstan to meet with Vladimir Putin.

Chicago is known as the big truck show and that is true again this year. GM is bringing out its new heavy duty version of the Silverado. It all starts with a speech from the President of North America Mark Reuss. We will have it all for you on later editions of Action News.
