Our first ever Channel 7 Family Day at the 2011 North American International Auto Show was a huge success! In fact, together we all broke a record that was set in 1993 for Friday attendance at the Auto Show.

Over 75,000 of visitors packed Cobo Center in Downtown Detroit to check out the cars, but many of you stopped by to meet our on-air personalities as well.

Special guest Lisa Locicero, who plays “Olivia” on ABC’s General Hospital, was also on hand signing autographs for fans.

A Michael Jackson look alike entertained the crowd as well as several other local bands.

And of course there were giveaways galore.

We want to say a big Congratulations to Donald Bell from Madison Heights who won the Gardner White "Big Picture Package." It includes a room full of furniture plus a 50" TV.

Congratulations also to Marshall Hardwick of Detroit, who will receive one year worth of Natural Gas for Free, courtesy of Lakeshore Energy.
