DETROIT (WXYZ) - Many people call Wednesday "spy day" at the North American International Auto Show.
Suppliers were there to investigate their competitors latest innovations. Every year during supplier days you'll find engineers and designers crawling all over the vehicles, hoping to figure out the competition's latest and greatest products and features.
Mike Fain of Hutchinson Sealing Systems in Auburn Hills said this year he sees a real difference in mood at the show.
"We're hiring, the OEM's are hiring, I'm very optimistic about the future."
