North American International Auto Show says Channel 7 Family day sets Friday record

(WXYZ) - Channel 7 Family Day at the Auto Show helped set an attendance record, according to figures released by North American International Auto Show.

On Friday alone, NAIAS reported that 77,822 people attended the show. That's almost 2,500 more people than attended the auto show on Channel 7 Family day last year.

The record attendance pushed total show attendance to 770,932 .

Tickets to the Detroit Auto Show are $12 with discounts available for seniors and children ($6 for each). Groups of 30 or more can also purchase discounted tickets.
