DETROIT (WXYZ) - Tuesday is shaping up to be another busy day at the North American International Auto Show!

Nissan was the automaker to kick things off, when they showed off the 2013 Nissan Leaf . Nissan has been relatively quiet at the major auto shows lately, and the release of the all new Leaf marks their return to the spotlight. They're even releasing a fragrance designed around the same environmentally friendly themes as the car.

Ford made their mark at the auto show when they unveiled the 2015 F-150 Atlas Concept . The automaker says the next version of the F-150 will have an EcoBoost engine built to automatically shut off  when stopped in traffic to save fuel.

Lexus and Cadillac also made reveals, with Lexus showing off their redesigned Lexus IS .

Fresh off winning the North American Car of the Year award yesterday, Cadillac also made headlines today when they showed off the 2014 Cadillac ELR , an extended-range luxury electric coupe that is based on the same powertrain as the Chevy Volt.

Acura unveiled their 2014 Acura MDX Prototype. The company says the vehicle previews the next-generation of Acura's luxury SUV.

We've also got the first unveiling ever at the North American International Auto Show by the Chinese automaker Gangzhou. That's happening at 12:25 pm.

And we're expecting a surprise from Shelby American. The company has scheduled their first unveiling since the death of Carroll Shelby. That's happening at 1:00 pm.

We're gearing up to bring you complete coverage of all the events on all editions of 7 Action News and on our special LIVE webcast from the show floor. Our webcast runs from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm here on WXYZ.com .
