(WXYZ) - It's time to get your motor running as metro Detroit prepares for a summer of fun-filled events that all focus on the automobile.
Autopalooza includes 13 events that kick-off with the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, June 1-3, and wraps up with the Woodward Dream Cruise on August 18.
Autopalooza includes the Hot Rod Power Tour, two different NASCAR weekends, several cruises and car shows, and the Concours D'Elegance.
The Convention Bureau estimates that visitors to the Dream Cruise, Grand Prix and Hot Rod Power Tour alone will generate $110 million for the metro-area economy.
