(WXYZ) - Dodge is staying classy with their new spokesperson, bringing Will Ferrell on board as his Anchorman character, Ron Burgundy.
The popular character will be used to advertise the 2014 Dodge Durango.
The advertising campaign is part of a cooperative effort with Paramount Pictures that will also advertise Ferrell's upcoming sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
The new campaign will run across television, print, digital and social media. According to Chrysler, this is the first time a movie studio and brand have teamed up to use a character in an advertising campaign.
The already unveiled ads are named "Horsepower," Glove Compartment," "Ride" and "Ballroom Dancers." "Ballroom Dancers is a two part spot that will be highlighted Monday, October 7 during Dancing with the Stars.
The ads debuted online and on television on Saturday, October 5. Additional spots will roll out in the coming weeks. You will be able to see them online at both BurgundayDodge.com and FunnyorDie.com .
