ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Every classic car has a story. Bruce Babiarz has owned his 1964 Corvette for more than half his life. He says the red convertible has driven him through all of his life's ups and downs.

This year's Dream Cruise is presented by Chevrolet and Bruce says that Chevy's celebration is Detroit's celebration as well.

"Chevrolet is named after Louis Chevrolet, they are celebrating his French heritage and Detroit has French heritage as well being founded by Cadillac in 1701."
