Local man gets 1988 Mustang restored just in time for Dream Cruise

ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) - A local man will be ready to roll in his 1988 Mustang after getting it restored just in time for the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise.
Kurt Newman’s 1988 Mustang needed a facelift, so he took it into DST Industries in Romulus, hoping to have it ready in time for the main event on Saturday.
Workers disassembled the car, giving it a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting. The Mustang will be ready for pickup on Friday, just in time for Woodward Avenue cruising.
