(WXYZ) - General Motors has released the first photos of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible ahead of the car's unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show.

The unveiling of the convertible version of the iconic sports car comes two months after the completely redesigned coupe version debuted at Cobo Center during the North American International Auto Show .

The Geneva Motor Show will also feature the European debut of the Corvette Stingray coupe, the Spark EV, the Captiva and the Hot Wheels edition of the Camaro.
