(WXYZ) - Honda is recalling 304,000 vehicles world wide because the airbags can injure people when they inflate. Honda says that the airbags inflate with too much pressure and can do more harm than good.

According to Honda, there have been 20 accidents where this has happened. Two people were killed by the airbags, in 2009.

The Japanese automaker is recalling 273,000 cars and vans in the United States, from the model years 2001-2002.

The vehicles include:

  • Accord
  • Civic
  • Odyssey
  • Pilot
  • CR-V
