(WXYZ) - Two well known executives at Ford Motor are shifting gears and retiring. Derrick Kuzak, who oversees Global Product Development and Lewis Booth, Chief Financial Officer are both leaving  April 1st.

Kuzak will be succeeded by Raj Nair, currently a vice president of  Global Product Development.

Booth will be succeeded by Bob Shanks, currently the Controller.

Both Kuzak and Booth have been instrumental in helping Ford weather the difficult economic times. Kuzak helped implement the One Ford global strategy and the push toward more global platforms.
