DETROIT (AP) - Comerica Bank is set to hold a grand opening ceremony for its new $17 million Michigan market headquarters.
The Comerica Bank Center is in downtown Detroit. The grand opening is scheduled for Tuesday.
Comerica also on Tuesday plans to unveil a preservation project to restore a historic wagon. The wagon is a replica of the wagons used to transport slaves to freedom along the Underground Railroad.
The project was created in partnership with Detroit's Second Baptist Church, which was a stop along the Underground Railroad.
The church will display the wagon and feature it in an annual Freedom Walk that re-enacts the path to freedom traveled by former slaves.
