(WXYZ) - Meijer may be getting rid of double coupons.
Bargain websites are posting pictures from users of in store signs that say the company is ending double coupons after March 30.
The company responded to a question on their Facebook page by saying that they "are eliminating double coupons in our Battle Creek, Lansing, Ft. Wayne and South Bend Markets."
The posting goes on to say that they are evaluating other markets to "determine the appropriate coupon strategy for that specific market based on our opportunity to reinvest in low prices across all of out items."
The Facebook post ends with the company saying, "We believe that investing in lower prices across the store is more of a benefit to our customers."
