Sears will kick off Black Friday earlier than any other major store this year. The retailer just announced that customers can shop most of  the store's "doorbuster" discounts online starting Nov. 18.

That's five days before Black Friday. However, there is a catch: you must join the "Sears Shop Your Way" membership program to be able to order the deals on Monday.

Industry analysts say that will put Sears first in line to offer Black Friday deals, even though other store are offering "pre-Thanksgiving" sales that may have similar discounts.

And most stores are opening Thanksgiving night with their best deals: Sears and Walmart will get the discount shopping started just after Thanksgiving dinner, with doors opening at 8 p.m. Target opens an hour later, at 9 p.m.
