Powerball grand prize ticket sold in Michigan

(WXYZ) - Check your tickets!

There is one grand prize winner in the Powerball, and the lucky ticket was sold right here in Michigan.

The jackpot ended up totaling $337 million dollars.

The winning numbers were 6 27 46 51 56 with a Powerball of 21.

We've learned the winning ticket was sold at a Sunoco Station in Lapeer. It was the only winning ticket nationwide.

Andi Brancato with the Michigan Lottery tells 7 Action News this was the third largest Powerball jackpot ever and the seventh largest lotto jackpot ever in the U.S.

The winner must come forward and cannot remain anonymous. They have a year to claim the prize.

If the lump sum was accepted, the winner would claim $241 million dollars and be hit with a 25% federal tax and a 4.3% state tax.
