(WXYZ) - Grand Rapids based Stehouwer's Frozen Foods is recalling more than 6,000 pounds of Pigs in Blanket products because they contain milk and it is not listed on the label.
The recall covers the 13.5-lb cases of Stehouwer's Pigs in Blanket, with each case containing 12 individual 18-oz. packages of Stehouwer's Pigs in Blankets. The products were produced on September 27, 2012, October 25, 2012 and December 13, 2012. They have use by dates of September 27, 2013, October 25, 2013 and December 13, 2013.
The recall also covers the 5-lb. bulk packages of Stehouwer's Pigs in Blanket that are labeled INSTITUTIONAL USE ONLY. They were produced on October 25, 2012 and have a use by date of 102513.
All of the affected products have an establishment number EST. 6814 inside the USDA mark inspection. They were sold and distributed through Michigan.
