YPSILANTI, Mich. (WXYZ) - An 11-month-old boy drowned in a pool Monday morning in Ypsilanti.
Harvest of Victory Church of Ypsilanti Pastor Jason Fredenburg says Oliver J. Hunt crawled out of his crib and onto the deck where a pool was built in, fell in and drowned.
The pastor says Oliver’s family needs help with funeral expenses. If you'd like to help, you can donate to the Oliver J. Hunt fund at the Harvest of Victory Church of Ypsilanti.
Services will be on Saturday, August 25 at the church at noon.
The pastor told 7 Action News that C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital was able to save other children using several organs from Oliver.
