(WXYZ) - A 37-year-old woman was hit and killed when she was crossing the road in Farmington Hills on Friday evening. 

Family members have identified the woman as Kimberly Williams of Farmington Hills.

Police say the woman was struck by oncoming vehicles when she was crossing outside of the crosswalk at Grand River near Drake at 6:21 p.m.

The woman died at the scene, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Farmington Hills police at 248-871-2610.
