81-year-old man dies after being struck by minivan in Troy

TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) - Troy Police say an 81-year-old man was killed when he stepped off a curb and was hit by a minivan on Coolidge Road between Square Lake and Long Lake Road in Troy.
The woman driving the minivan told police the man stepped off of the curb. The accident happened around 8:00 a.m.
Police are still investigating, but it does not appear that the woman will be facing any charges.
